The State Government of Telangana organized a special Christmas dinner on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Hyderabad. During this celebration Felicitation of Eminent Christians and Christian institutions that have excelled in different fields and rendered exemplary services in secular areas like Social Work, Medical, Education, Literary Pursuits, Fine Arts / Theatre and Sports were recognized and awarded.
Foundation for Children in Need has been awarded for rendering exemplary service to the poor. Dr. Geetha Yeruva, Co-founder received the memento and a cash award of 2 lakhs rupees ( about $ 3125 ) from Honorable Chief Minister, Sri. Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao Garu. We thank him for his support to FCN and to Christian community. We also thank the Minority Welfare Department and Christian Finance Corporation of Telangana State for organizing a wonderful celebration and for selecting FCN for this prestigious award.
